Assalamu’alaikum!

I am Aminur Rahman, currently on study leave to pursue a PhD in Information and Computer Science while holding the position of Lecturer in the Department of CSE at DIU. I also serve as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) at the Department of Information and Computer Science at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). I completed my Bachelor's degree from the Department of CSE at CUET in 2023.

I am deeply passionate about Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Large Language Models (LLMs). My current research focuses on damage detection and quantification, developing systems that can measure damaged objects across construction structures, real-world things, and medical contexts such as bones and organs, with precise estimation of damage in terms of size, shape, and depth. I also work on text classification, sentiment analysis, and multimodal content analysis, with a particular commitment to building language technologies for underrepresented languages such as Bengali.

As a graduate researcher at KCR-Lab, I work on cutting-edge projects under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, spanning multimodal AI, text-vision analysis, and practical applications of LLMs. At DIU, I serve as the Advisor for the DIU Cyber Security Club, mentoring students, organizing workshops, and facilitating academic activities.
